Seminar Chasidi High School - Building Futures
Tsfat's Seminar Chasidi High School was founded in 2019 to continue the innovative educational opportunities offered to girls in the Derech Yehudit elementary and middle schools. The school offers a high level of education for the charadi sector in Tsfat. The school also places a special emphasis on building the students inner world, with hashgaphic classes that help the students internalize the lessons learned.
The school has two educational tracks:
1) Computer Design
2) Bookkeeping and Office Management.
All of the students who graduate the school will have a certificate of completion in one of these two tracks. These certificates are accepted at workplaces and will allow the girls who want to work immediately after graduation the opportunity to find work easily.
In the Israeli Charadi high school framework the students take specialized matriculation exams called "chutzim." The mainstream schools in Israel take different exams called "bagrut." While chutzim are recognized at most Charidi collages, they are not recognized at the same level at decree-granting higher education institutes.
Seminar Chasidi has combined these two tracks with careful Rabbinic guidance allowing the students to graduate high school with the required 21 points of bagrut to continue on to a decree-granting institution.
